AmbironTrustWave Joins PASS Consortium To Provide Added Levels Of Payment Security For Businesses

DENVER, May 9, 2007 – IP Commerce, Inc., a software company enabling open commerce services between businesses, today announced that AmbironTrustWave, a premium provider of information security and compliance management solutions, will deliver data security services and technologies through PASS (Payments as a Secure Service™) Commerce Center.

PASS Commerce Center is a comprehensive financial management solution that saves small businesses time, provides them with real-time visibility into their cash position and protects critical financial information. PASS Commerce Center already leverages many of the unique security features of the Windows Vista operating system including the Windows Security Center to secure financial transactions. AmbironTrustWave adds an additional layer of security that will provide small businesses with security solutions such as vulnerability detection and compliance management to ensure protection of their customer data.

As part of this agreement, AmbironTrustWave has joined the growing number of commerce organizations working together to deliver commerce services as part of the PASS Consortium. Created by IP Commerce, PASS Consortium is comprised of financial institutions and payment service providers working together to promote secure and efficient open financial transactions by leveraging IP Commerce’s IP Payments Framework® (IPPF™) and Windows Vista operating system. Additional members include: BankServ, Chase Paymentech, CIT Group, Inc., Internet Commerce Corporation (NasdaqCM: ICCA), and PayPal.

AmbironTrustWave provides data security and compliance management solutions to businesses throughout the world to help them meet numerous regulatory requirements such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Sarbanes-Oxley. In joining the PASS Consortium, AmbironTrustWave enhances the existing security features in PASS Commerce Center so small businesses using Windows Vista can ensure secure payments and transactions, and better protect their overall financial environment. In addition, AmbironTrustWave’s existing customers will have access to a variety of commerce services delivered through PASS Commerce Center.

AmbironTrustWave has found that more than half of credit card compromise cases they investigated were caused by a fault in the service provided by a third party to a merchant; POS developers, integrators, and IT firms are not aware and/or following PCI DSS, leaving merchants at risk. As a result, unauthorized individuals are taking advantage of this system flaw and accessing highly secure information merchants believe to be secure, such as credit card information they process and/or transmit.

According to Robert J. McCullen, CEO of AmbironTrustWave, “Most small businesses are so busy running their business that they don’t have the time nor the expertise to readily comply with security standards, and as a result they run the risk of a security breach and possibly hurting their business. By joining the PASS Consortium and providing access to our data security expertise and technology through PASS Commerce Center, we are helping small businesses mitigate their risk by securing their payment environments while also offering our customers added payment services that will help them run their businesses more efficiently.”

“PASS Commerce Center was built on security and our goal is to ensure that small businesses have access to secure commerce services. The addition of AmbironTrustWave’s industry leading information security and compliance management solutions validates our commitment to helping small businesses protect their critical business information,” said Chip Kahn, CEO, IP Commerce.
