DataSolutions Wins EMEA Award from Citrix

DataSolutions, Ireland’s leading value add IT distributor, has been announced as the winner of the ‘Best Market Development Distributor’ at the 2008 EMEA Citrix conference in Stockholm. The annual award is given to the Citrix distributor that delivers the best service, value and uses innovation in creating awareness for Citrix’ solutions portfolio. DataSolutions was lauded for its ‘virtualisation labs’ which offered the only end-to-end virtualisation demo in Ireland.

The virtualisation labs were a DataSolutions initiative which offered reseller partners, and their end-user customers, a fully functioning demonstration of the Citrix virtualisation range of products including XenApp, Xen Server, XenDesktop and Provisioning Server. The virtualisation lab is the only one of its kind in Ireland and offers a practical demonstration on how to incorporate end-to-end virtualisation into IT environments.
