London – 10 December 2008. hybris, www.hybris.com, a leading multi-channel commerce and communication software vendor has announced that Check Point Software Technologies´ division ZoneAlarm (www.zonealarm.com), one of the leading brands in consumer Internet security, has gone live with a new retail website based on the hybris e-Commerce Suite within shortest time. The new website (http://store.zonealarm.com) enables ZoneAlarm’s customers to directly purchase and download its security software, increasing the ease with which home and small business users can benefit from the company’s award winning software security solutions.
ZoneAlarm’s in-house team of four developers built the new e-Commerce system, based on the hybris software, after only three days of training and five days of consulting from hybris. Additional support was provided via telephone and posted on the hybris online customer support portal.
Commenting about the speed and success of the ZoneAlarm implementation, Laura Yecies, Vice President at Check Point and General Manager of ZoneAlarm, said, “The ability for us to see hybris working in full production mode in such a short period of time confirmed that our selection of hybris software to replace our current e-commerce website was well founded. Our team quickly benefitted from the 100% standardised software platform, which was a major factor in the fast and extremely successful implementation of our new online store. The training and support from hybris was excellent.”
Ariel Ludi, CEO of hybris, said; “The speed with which the ZoneAlarm e-commerce system was developed and launched online confirms that hybris is able to implement complex transactional websites more efficiently than our competitors. The skill and dedication demonstrated by the Checkpoint Development team are to be commended and played a key role in this highly positive outcome.”
The new site is currently in English and supports transactions in US Dollars, but looking to the future, ZoneAlarm plans to convert its existing international webstore over to the hybris platform as well as incorporate additional payment methods into the system.
