Integral Mobile Data (IMD), the mobile software tools subsidiary of the OLM Group, has announced the appointment of David Lancaster as product integration manager.
OLM Group is a market leader in case management systems for social and health Care. The appointment of Mr Lancaster follows a strategic review of recent acquisitions by OLM Group, and the creation of a new IT products and services division headed by Hytec Information Security. This brings together IT infrastructure management, information security, systems integration and sharing, and mobile working solutions to present a cogent proposition for ‘Business Transformation.’
Philip Neame, IMD’s founder and managing director, stated: “As computer automation of mobile working becomes pervasive, the logic of this restructuring, and the benefits, for IMD are inescapable. David Lancaster brings 20 years senior experience in product management which embraces all the areas of focus in the new division. We are delighted to welcome him to our senior management team as IMD prepares to take a further significant step forward since its acquisition by the OLM Group.”
David Lancaster commented: “I have been familiar with IMD’s products for over two years, and from the start was impressed with the capability of its mobile data platform – Integral mForms® – a view clearly shared by OLM Group. I very much look forward to contributing to its development in the context of the developing business transformation agenda which is essentially what underpins the adoption of mobile working technology.”
David Bryant, Head of OLM’s Hytec Division, said: “We have known David Lancaster for many years. As mobile computing moves from early-adopter to mainstream, stability, quality, information security and increasingly demanding integration are becoming key criteria in users’ evaluations. We are exceptionally fortunate to bring someone of David Lancaster’s experience and understanding into IMD’s senior team, to lever on the combined strengths of this new division within OLM and move IMD’s products to the next level.”
