AVIOR COMPUTING SIGNS FOUR NEW ENTERPRISE CLIENTS FOR BENCHMARK AND CLEARVIEW COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

NASHUA, NH, January 13, 2009 – Avior Computing Corporation announced today that four significant new clients have recently purchased and implemented the firm’s BenchMark and ClearView compliance management solutions.

The four clients include a major provider of services to the financial industry, a top-10 insurance firm, a captive bank that is a part of a large transportation company, and a financial asset recovery business.

The four firms share a common need to manage their organizations to comply with multiple regulations, including GLBA/FFIEC, PCI, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), state data privacy laws, and other regulations. The firms are implementing Avior’s BenchMark and ClearView solutions to manage compliance to these regulations.

Each of these new clients will use the Avior ClearView dynamic web service mapping solution to automate the mapping of regulations, standards, controls, and assessment questions. They will also use Avior’s BenchMark assessment solution, which automates the process of assessing and managing compliance for applications such as vendor risk and information privacy. Avior BenchMark is available either in SaaS or premise based solutions. The Avior compliance management solutions help compliance and risk professionals to be more effective in their compliance management programs, while expending far less manual effort.

Despite the challenging economy, Avior has seen tremendous interest in their compliance management solutions, and increasing customer adoption momentum, even in the difficult financial services sector. In addition, Avior has continued to expand the scope of the compliance management offerings in two dimensions:

- Significant new functionality has been added to BenchMark in the areas of advanced reporting, integration with the ClearView web service API, and remediation management

- Significant new support for additional regulations in ClearView, including PIPEDA, ISO 27002, PCI DSS, GLBA/FFIEC, GAPP, HIPAA, and many others, as well as new assessment question libraries for BenchMark supporting these same regulations
